Clarifications on the various Dimming types of luminaires

    • DALI Lighting Fixture
To dim a DALI lighting fixture, your installation must include a two-wire line from the signal source (e.g., a KNX smart home system) to the lighting fixtures. This allows the fixtures to be controlled via the KNX system, enabling you to create groups, scenarios, and other configurations.
    • Push-Dim Lighting Fixture
To dim a Push-Dim lighting fixture, your installation needs an additional wire connecting the lighting fixture to a control switch, which is simply a push-button. The fixture is permanently powered with phase, neutral, and ground. When the push-button is pressed, a phase signal is sent to a special input of the fixture. The operation works as follows:
    • A quick press of the button turns the fixture on or off.
    • Holding the button continuously increases or decreases the light intensity alternately.
    • Smart Lighting Fixture
To dim a smart lighting fixture, no special installation is required, but a Wi-Fi connection must be available in the space. Additionally, you need to download the corresponding free app on your smartphone. This option is not recommended for users unfamiliar with using smartphones. Furthermore, the warranty in this case is 2 years.
