For plaster products you should better use spray paint. Ceramic products can be painted normally.

Products that use LED lamps (type E14, E27, GU10) are capable of Dimming (TRIAC) as long as you select the appropriate type of lamp.

For LED integrated products you should contact one of our experienced representatives in order to explain you the Dimming capability of the specific product you are interested in.

Viokef products that are LED integrated (not LED bulbs) have a lifetime of 50,000 operating hours.

The operating hours refer to the LED chip and not to the lifetime of the product.

These luminaires are equipped with lithium-ion batteries.

As is well known, a typical estimated lifespan of a lithium-ion battery is about two to three years or  300 to 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first.

We basically measure their efficiency using a function of 2 indicators, which are lumens and watts.

Specifically we measure the light emission of the lighting fixture in relation to its electrical power and therefore its power consumption.

The meaning of color in LED products is the temperature of light. Specifically it defines how cold or warm is the light emission. This temperature is measured in Kelvin degrees and essentially measures the hue of light.

The usual color temperatures range from 2700 K (Kelvin) to 6500 K. The lowest color temperature emits what we usually call warm light (and is more yellow), while the highest color temperatures emit cold light (and are more white) .

Warm lighting of 3000k is suitable for places where we want to feel warm and cozy and thus is preferable for homes. In contrast, cold lighting of 4000k is usually preferable for professional spaces and offices.

In general we could say that white range is as follows:

1. a) warm white” (2700K to 3100K), ranges from orange to light yellow.
2. b) Neutral / Cool white (3100K and 4500K) which is perceived in human eyes as brighter and ranges from bright white to slightly bluish.
3. c) Daylight white (4500K and above) with intense blue color (like the sky in the morning)

The color produced by the LED chip of each fixture, even if it has the exact same characteristics (3.00k or 4.00k), is likely to differ from product to product.

TERMS OF WARRANTY
I. WARRANTY
VIOKEF S.A. provides warranty for the time period specified below, which is exclusively limited to the free of charge repair of the product (lighting fixture) in case of malfunction due exclusively to a manufacturing error. The present warranty does not include the product’s replacement or buyer’s claim for compensation. The transportation cost from and to the company exclusively burdens the buyer.
Claims, which differ from or extend beyond what is mentioned in the present warranty, shall be excluded, with the exception of any claims compulsorily provided in the applicable law. VIOKEF S.A. shall not be liable for actual and implied, coincidental or consequential, damages of any kind, including indicatively but not limited to loss of profit or business losses.
II. DURATION OF WARRANTY PERIOD
The duration of the present warranty is set for a time period of two (2) years as from the day of the initial purchase. The proof of the initial date of purchase burdens the buyer.
III. WARRANTY VALIDITY
The present warranty is valid only if it is followed by the original document of purchase of the product (retail receipt etc.).
IV. MEANS OF REPAIR
VIOKEF S.A. has the right to freely determine the means, the time and the place for the repair of the product.
V. EXCEPTIONS
The present warranty does not cover dispensable parts (e.g. bulbs, batteries), glass parts, as well as the following cases:
a) Damages caused by improper use or misuse of the product (e.g. exposure to excessive heat, humidity and strokes, use beyond the normal conditions of use) and, in general, damages caused due to non observance of the product’s instructions of use.
b) Damages or malfunction caused by problems in the Power Supply Networks.
c) Damages caused by natural disasters such as lightning, flood, fire etc.
d) Damages caused by repair or disassembling of the product, performed by a person non-authorized by VIOKEF S.A.
e) Damages caused by the use of bulbs non-specified in the specifications tags of the lighting fixtures.
IV. FINAL PROVISIONS
The present warranty may be amended only in writing, by a document signed by both VIOKEF S.A. and the buyer.
The present warranty as well as all relative disputes are governed by Greek law.
